Teaching parrots to play games on tablets

Parrots are very intelligent birds. They can learn to do many things and they need enrichment and stimulation to keep them from boredom.
Researchers are teaching them to play games on tablets. The birds can do it. The games need to be adapted to the birds needs. A caregiver needs to be present to help with the interaction. 
As with any screen time there are recommendations, not more than a certain amount per day and appropriate supervision.

This does have potential to make life more interesting for a pet parrot.
It is not meant to be an electronic baby sitter for your bird.
What happens if parrots discover YouTube and funny cat videos?
Will they end up watching videos all day?
What if they figure out Facebook? Your parrot could join a bird group and have more friends than you.
Some of those parrots are smarter than we realize.
