Mexico has been having a terrible heat wave. Temperatures are high and water levels are low. A large area is affected. The monkeys are overcome by heat and dehydration. Some have been saved by people who helped them in time. However 83 monkeys have died so far.

Extremes in temperatures and precipitation are the effects of climate change. Wildfires are another side effect. 
Another cause of problems is logging. Trees do help mitigate the effects of climate change. Cutting the trees down make things worse.
For the monkeys the situation is deadly.
