Gaza Zoo suffers during fighting
#1
Sad
We have our conflicts and I have no intention of taking sides in a fight that doesn't concern me. However, it is always the innocent and vulnerable that suffer when humans fight.
Gaza Zoo is right in the middle and animals have been killed and the ones that lived are suffering. They can't get proper food or water. Many have died of thirst. Those that are still alive are seriously traumatized.

It is unspeakable what we do the animals caught in the path of our conflicts. I am sure countless will creatures have died in the shelling as well. No one tells the birds when to take cover.

This just adds to the senselessness of it all. It makes me feel even more sad. At least they have called a ceasefire for now.

This is the web site of the rescue I volunteer at.

This is heartbreaking and very sad. Innocent civilians suffer too in wars, but it is so sad to also see the animals suffering like this. I hope that help can be organised. But Gaza is such a mess right now.

It is a heartbreak. They waste precious resources destroying things. If they all worked towards building things up there would be enough for all.
It is always the innocent and vulnerable who get caught in the cross fire.
I commend the people who are risking their lives to try and help the animals.
