On a hot summer day this is an important question. Should you leave the air conditioner on for your cat?
The answer is maybe and perhaps. Is the cat a short haired cat or is it long haired. It makes a big difference.

Some cats can take fair bit of heat and will love a hot day. Cats with long hair might find it too hot. Cats can suffer from heat stoke and it can be dangerous for them. Cats should have plenty of water and some way of getting cool. If it is extremely hot and the cat has long hair, then an air conditioner would be safer. It could be on a low setting so it doesn't cool things too much. It is better to be safe than sorry.
