The Animal Mind--a new book
#1
I came across an article about a book I want to read.
The Animal Mind by Jeffrey Kluger

http://time.com/3173937/what-are-animals...u-suspect/

Has anyone else come across this book?
I hope our library system carries it.

Well we know all animals think, they feel, most dream; they understand humour, sorrow, grieving, and they love. They just don't have the same vocal cords as we do, so much of what they know is a mystery so long as we are depending on a very left-brained viewpoint, as humans are inclined to do. But on the other side of that I have a feeling there is so much waiting to be discovered....as they know a lot.
This does sound like a very interesting read. I had not heard of it before.

The article is dated Aug 2014 so it must be a new publication. I am not even sure who carries it or if it is even available in Canada.

I would be interested to see what he has to say about animal thoughts.
We know they think. Sometimes I think I know what they are thinking and sometimes they surprize me.
