Bigfoot is actually a Black Bear

Bigfoot is a North American mythological creature. There are always sightings, but never any good pictures. Scientists studying the myth have determined that Bigfoot is only seen in Black Bear country at the time of day that black bears are seen. Black Bears do stand upright on two legs that gives the impression that they are walking on two legs. Black bears have shaggy fur like the bigfoot of mythology.

This is such an obvious explanation. I have seen videos that were supposed to be Bigfoot walking and then the animal goes back to being on four legs and walks off into the forest. I don't suppose they will ever convince the people who want to believe in Bigfoot. We see what we want to see. 
I would love to see a woolly Mammoth. At least Mammoths used to exist. There is a fossil record of them. There is no fossil record of Bigfoot.
There are lots of bones from bears out there.
