Most popular pet names of 2024

Like baby names, pet names have trends and some years some names are popular. Sometimes a popular name will disappear from the list.
Sometimes a new name will appear at the top of the list.

It is interesting to look at what we call our pets. You have to wonder why we choose some names and not others.
Some years the most popular pet name is also the most popular baby name. 

I noticed that they tend to be short names. Most were two syllables. Only one had three syllables. Four of them were one syllable names.

I am actually using three of them right now. Willow is a white striped corn snake and a male. Bella is a red striped corn snake and a female, I think.
Milo is red, black, orange etc. and still young so I have no idea if he is a she or she is a he. It is too soon to tell.
I have used a number of the other names before.

I guess that is why they are on the list, we choose them.
