Petition to help animals in Gaza

We read about the plight of animals in Gaza as a result of human conflict. Now it seems there are petitions to help the animals.

I hope enough signatures will help the animals in the area to receive much needed aid.

Thank you very much for posting this, Catherine. It's truly horrific what the animals are experiencing at Gaza Zoo. I know the plight of the people there is terrible as well. But it's good that we shouldn't forget those animals, and do what we can to help them.

Hopefully with time, things can be rebuilt, but how do you heal the trauma of an animal who has lost his whole family to the conflict.

I hope the signatures help. It is the least we can do.

It seems so horrible to think of animals being trapped in a conflict that is not of their making and really does not concern them. I commend the brave people who have risked themselves to get food and water to the zoo. Now the animals who are left deserve all the help we can give them. They deserve a future full of peace and plenty. I really hope it happens.
