Beavers complete dam building project faster and cheaper than the human plans.

The Czech government planned a wetland project for an old military  training site. It involved a series of dams that would restore the area.
The project was proposed in 2018 and would have cost over a million. The project hadn't started yet. A team of beavers moved in, completed the job and actually did twice as much as had been originally proposed. They also did it for nothing.

The beavers built the dams. They did it for free. They will also maintain the dams for free.
I think we should be looking for help from beavers for a lot of things. The beavers did not have to go to school to learn dam building and they did not have to spend a lot of time planning the dams. They just knew what to do.

Bring back beavers to an area and who knows what they will do. It will be the right thing for restoring that area.
When it comes to restoring nature, nature may know more about it than we do.
