Princess Kate refuses to let Royal grandchildren take part in Blooding

Blooding is an old hunting tradition. After the child makes its first kill, the blood of the animal is smeared across the child's face.
Princess Kate, their mother is refusing to let this happen.

Good going Kate. I think the tradition of blooding is terrible. It exposes a child to something traumatizing and crude. It is also disrespectful  to the animal that was killed. You can make arguments in favor of hunting. It could be claimed that hunting controls the numbers of a certain species. The meat could be intended to feed people who need it. What justification is there for rubbing the animal's blood across a child's face.

I hope Kate is able to keep up her ban on blooding. Maybe it will cause people to rethink the practice.
Humans should no longer be doing things like this.
