Petition - Don't Send Crying Elephant Back to Abusive Owner

I hope we hear good news soon. I just can't comprehend the idea of sending an abused animal beck to the abuser.

If he is ordered to go back we will just have to petition and protest as fast as we can.

Case delayed until 13 October.

Probably the judge wants more time. But I agree - delay is a good sign. Public pressure needs to be kept up during that period, though.

I don't think judges ever had to deal with the power of the internet before. It is Google's 16th birthday and Google has done so much to connect people so that we can react to things like this. Before the internet we wouldn't even have known about Raju and there would have been no way to organize anything to help him.

I hope it is enough to keep him free.
