Good Caws Crow Rescue Society uses 3D printer to help injured Magpie
#1
Good Caws Crow Rescue Society is a rescue group in Prince George, BC. They rescue crows and related species. Siren the Magpie came in with an injured leg.
It is not healing and will have to be amputated. A prosthetic limb could be produced with a 3D printer. Siren will not be able to return to the wild, so a new larger more permanent enclosure will have to be built.

I love the name of the rescue. It is creative. So is their plan to help Siren. She will have a good life.
As a shelter they are doing good work with injured crows and now they are hoping to expand. There is definitely a need for a place that can help a bird like Siren.
I hope their expansion plans go well. All the best to Siren and her new leg.
