Unbelievable rescue
#1
I still find it hard to believe they saved the dog. Most people wouldn't have tried.

He even wags his tail after all that. Dogs never give up hope do they.

This is so moving. I can hardly believe they were able to get that amount of tar off him, and that he was okay in the end, showing no ill-effects! He is a lovely dog too, with a good temperament.
I'm surprised he didn't suffer burns.

The tar must have been hot enough to be liquid, but not hot enough to burn. I don't know how they recognized that he was alive. All he could do was move his eyes.
It is the most amazing rescue I have ever seen. It seems that rescue is always possible. I love the fact that he is wagging his tail and looking happy as soon as he can do it. I hope that dog finds a really special home.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the video. I thought he was dead.
Maybe cats are not the only ones with nine lives.
