Some animals are dangerous and some animals mimic their colours so everyone thinks they are dangerous.
It is a complicated form of disguise. Some animals will mimic leaves or sticks as a disguise.

It is amazing how animals have adapted and evolved to disguise themselves. If everyone thinks you are dangerous, then you can live in peace even if you are harmless. If someone thinks you are a leaf or a stick, they will leave you alone. As a survival mechanism, it is brilliant.
I just have to wonder how it all came about.
