Two Polar Bear orphans at Assinaboine Zoo

Two more Polar Bear orphans were rescued and brought to the bear facility at the Assiniboine Zoo in Winnipeg.

They are beautiful little bears and they will be well looked after. There seem to be a lot of orphaned bears these days. It is a good thing there is a place for them. At some point they may need bigger bear sanctuaries to accommodate all the bears.

I hate to even think about what happens to their mothers. Is it global warming or hunting or both.
