Two dogs abandoned in an empty home
A man has been charged after his two dogs were found dead in an abandoned home.  He left them locked in a bedroom with no food or water. In desperation they ate wood and plastic and anything else in hopes of staying alive. Sadly they were found too late.

There is never an excuse for leaving animals to die like this. If he turned they loose they might have been found and rescued. He could have left them at a shelter.
He could have done anything, but what he did. He set things up so that they would die slowly and painfully in fear and distress.  I can't imagine why anyone would do this to their digs. He deserves to be charged with cruelty.

Unfortunately I can't read it. There is message: "Unfortunately, our website is currently unavailable in most European countries. We are engaged on the issue and committed to looking at options that support our full range of digital offerings to the EU market."

This man surely must be charged?! Are there no animal cruelty laws in Orlando? Do you have an update?
I will post the story from several different sources. One of them should be available where you are.

He is clearly in jail and will face charges.

In searching for the articles I found equally horrible stories of animals being left to starve.

There were other older articles. This seems to be more common than  I expected. Fortunately charges are being laid against people who did this.
I  can't understand why they don't surrender the animals to a shelter. The women who went on three weeks vacation knew their dogs would die.
They did nothing to prevent it. It would have been kinder to just take them to a vet and have them euthanized. They left them to die. If they had tied them to a tree outside at least they could have been rescued. It is scary to think that people are that callous and cruel.

They need to be charged and there should be some serious consequences. I don't know what will happen to the man who left his dogs. He is still in jail.
I will post an update as soon as I find one.
