Thank goodness all the animals were rescued! And that there's been such a great response to temporarily fostering them while the shelter gets back 'on its feet'.
I guess soon, they will find out what the cause of the fire was. It could have been some appliance which malfunctioned. I hope it wasn't arson, as that happened in Manchester Dogs' Home not very long ago.
I know someone who works in animal rescue in New Jersey. Although I am not certain of the name of her operation. It could be "Bear's Legacy of Love" or "Sophie's Safe House" and she doesn't actually run a shelter herself, but volunteers in co-ordinating rescues. Much as I am not really bothered with Facebook, I might go on there to check out what is happening with her. She might be helping.
