Bookmarked! A delightful video, showing how we cannot stereotype any animal as a "brute beast who just kills". Recognition and love are there, for all to see.
This reminds me of the Christian the lion video on You Tube - and also of the story of Androcles (which may well be true).
Good find, Noble Knight!

I thought you'd like that one!
A good point, the story of Androcles may well have been inspired by an actual event. Also perhaps Daniel?
It would certainly have seemed miraculous to the ancient mind that such a beast would refrain from killing when gifted with the opportunity. Even today it seems astonishing.
That's the transformative power of love.
It is our deeds, the accumulated acts of goodness and kindness that define us and ultimately are the true measure of our worth. Service is the coin of the spirit.

What a wonderful reunion. Apart from the lion's capacity for love and gratitude, it also shows there's nothing wrong with his memory.

Another fabulous story. It really is heart warming to see how much affection the lion has for her.

All the more remarkable when you consider this is a top of the chain carnivore. He could smash her skull to pulp in an instant if he chose to!
'The lion will lie down with the lamb'. A reminder that animals look to humans for example and when love is exemplified the door is opened to response.
