'Roadkill' Fox makes miraculous recovery
#1
A passerby found a nearly-dead fox by the side of a busy highway in Ontario. The female fox had been hit by a car and was hardly moving or breathing. Thanks to Jennifer, who found her, and the local wildlife rescue group 'Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary', she gradually recovered -and made a new friend!

The story:

And the video....

(I have put this story in 'Animal Charities and Rescues' because it does highlight the work of WWS.)

What a wonderful end to what could have been a tragedy. Tammy really did look dead so I must have taken a lot of hope to believe she could be saved. How sweet that Tammy and Todd have found each other in a wildlife rescue centre.

There is always hope.Heart

I had never heard of the Woodland Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a well kept secret in Ontario. It makes me wonder how many other places are out there to help animals in trouble.

That's a very nice story. I don't know much about foxes but am so glad this one lived.
